Terms of Use
The ground rules for this site
Last updated: September 2026
Plain-language terms for using the Washington Consortium website. By using this site, you're agreeing to what's below.
What this site is
This website is the informational home of Washington Consortium, an educational initiative based in Washington, DC and currently building its organizational structure. It is not represented as a tax-exempt nonprofit organization. It's here to explain what we do and to start conversations — nothing more.
Using our content
The text, design, logo, and materials on this site belong to Washington Consortium. You're welcome to share and reference what you find here with attribution. Please don't use our name, logo, or content commercially — or in a way that suggests endorsement — without our written permission.
Programs and partnerships
Nothing on this website creates a binding agreement. Program participation, partnerships, and support arrangements are formed through direct conversation and written agreement — the website is where those conversations begin, not where they're concluded.
Contributions
Financial contributions are processed through Stripe's secure checkout. Washington Consortium does not store full card details. A contribution does not create a program, partnership, or service agreement. Contributions should not be assumed to be tax-deductible.
Monthly contributions continue until canceled through the payment provider. Payment confirmations and available management links are provided with the transaction communications.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep everything on this site accurate and honest — including publishing only verified figures. Details about programs, timelines, and availability may change as the work evolves, and the site may not always reflect the very latest state of a program.
Links to other sites
This site may link to external websites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Liability
This site is provided as is. We're not liable for decisions made based on information found here, or for any interruption or technical issue affecting the site.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update this page and note the date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
