The educator track

In development

Become the multiplier.

Facilitator training that prepares you to run the Washington Consortium curriculum yourself — experiential leadership education, in your classroom, with your students, under your name.

Timing is confirmed as pilots are scheduled. Educators on the list hear first.

Why we train educators

The sustainable way to scale this is to grow it from within.

Washington Consortium began with instructor-led pilots. The educator track is the deliberate next step: equipping outstanding teachers to lead the curriculum themselves, with our frameworks, coaching, and ongoing support behind them.

  • Educators are the multipliers of leadership education
  • Schools build internal capacity instead of relying on outside instructors
  • Students learn from people they already know and trust
  • The program becomes a sustainable part of the school's culture

What facilitators learn

The craft of facilitation.
The substance of the curriculum.

  1. 01

    Leading discussion-driven learning sessions

Run a room where the thinking happens out loud — not a lecture with pauses.

  2. 02

Teaching critical thinking and decision-making frameworks

Give students structures for reasoning when the answer isn't given.

  3. 03

Coaching ethical reasoning and responsible judgment

Hold the hard conversations about what should be built, not just what can be.

  4. 04

    Mentoring student ventures and projects

Coach real attempts — scope, feedback, and the discipline of finishing.

  5. 05

    Guiding structured reflection and assessment

Turn what happened into what's next, with evidence instead of vibes.

  6. 06

Building a resilient, high-trust cohort culture

Make 'that didn't work — what did we learn?' a normal part of the room.

How the training works

Practice-based. Built for working educators.

  • 01

    Live training sessions

A guided sequence of sessions with experienced WC instructors — practice-based, not slide-based.

  • 02

    Remote, from anywhere

An interactive online format built for working educators and real schedules.

  • 03

    Practice facilitation

Rehearse real session segments and get feedback before you ever lead students.

  • 04

    Facilitator certification

Formal recognition as a certified Washington Consortium facilitator — finalized as the track launches.

The full training sequence is finalized as the first cohorts are scheduled — shaped by the educators in the room.

Who it's for

Chosen for mindset,
not résumé.

We select facilitators the same way we select students.

  • Classroom teachers at the upper-secondary or early-college level
  • Educators passionate about leadership, entrepreneurship, and student growth
  • No entrepreneurship background required — we teach the frameworks
  • Comfortable leading discussion, not just delivering content
  • Committed to facilitating a student cohort after training
  • Backed by a school as a designated program facilitator

After training

A network,
not a handshake goodbye.

Facilitators join the WC educator network: continued curriculum updates, coaching check-ins, and a growing community of educators leading the program in their own schools.

You know your students. We bring the framework — and we stay.
